Blake grew up in Alma, Arkansas, and graduated from Alma High School in 1997. Shortly after graduating, Blake enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served on active duty for seven years and was involved in operations supporting both Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Blake’s experience with special cargo, airdrop, hazardous materials, and international shipping laws while in the Air Force developed his fascination with the law.
After Blake’s military enlistment ended, he began his pursuit of practicing law. He obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal Assistance and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with an emphasis on Rhetoric and Psychology at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith. Blake obtained his law degree from the University of Arkansas, School of Law.
Once Blake started practicing law, he found that he really enjoyed working in areas of law where he could help people while they are going through difficult times in their lives. He has primarily focused on family law, criminal law, and Social Security Disability. Blake also enjoys legal research and writing and has written briefs for a number of appellate court cases.
Outside of the Office
When Blake is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Blake also loves the outdoors and playing music in his spare time.
