JOEL HARGIS

Attorney at Caddell Reynolds

BIO

Joel G Hargis has been a Licensed Attorney in the State of Arkansas since 2004 with a focus in Bankruptcy, Bankruptcy litigation, consumer advocacy, debtor’s rights, fair debt collection, and fair credit reporting issues.

He has spent the last several years building a practice that he calls full-service consumer advocate representation. “It goes well beyond just Bankruptcy,” said Joel. “I take a comprehensive approach to Bankruptcy law and help my clients solve their most immediate issues and provide a long-term plan moving forward. I become their trusted advocate throughout the entire process.”

Joel was born in Fort Smith, AR and grew up in the nearby town of Greenwood. At eight, he and his family moved to Conway where Joel attended Conway High School and later earned his B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Central Arkansas. Joel Graduated from UCA and attended the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas Little Rock campus. Joel graduated from UALR in 2003.

Joel has a heart for helping people. Upon passing the bar, he never considered going into corporate law. He enjoys the almost instant satisfaction a client gets when his efforts get the collection calls to stop.

Joel works alongside his wife and paralegal who keeps him on the task in the office. They’re also busy raising three children – 12, 11 and 9 – who are, “quite frankly, the best children a parent could hope for.”

Joel and his family will be moving to Northeast Arkansas to open Caddell Reynolds Law Firm’s new office in Jonesboro. “I’ve been looking for a larger firm to share my ideals,” said Joel. “The Caddell Reynolds Law Firm team seems to be tight knit, client and goal oriented, and very organized. It was simply refreshing to walk into the Caddell Reynolds Law Firm offices. I feel very at home.”

Joel looks forward to using his experience to help consumers in Jonesboro. “The satisfaction my client gets when I make the collection calls stop, or when I stop a foreclosure sale or other repossession action, helps them retake control of their lives,” said Joel. “There is nothing more rewarding than the thanks I get when a client has the crushing weight of debt off their shoulders.”

“My wife Mandy and I are very excited about opening a new chapter in my family’s life, providing my children new and greater opportunities and increasing the reach and the strength of our practice,” said Joel.
