Bill Reynolds of Caddell Reynolds Law Firm has recently been honored with an invitation from the Fort Smith chapter of the Arkansas Mental Health Counselors Association (WCArMHCA) to speak at a Continuing Education (CE) forum. The program—entitled Privilege Communication & Ethics: What Those Working in the Healthcare System Need to Know—will take place on February 12th in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
About the Program
Presented in conjunction with the Center for Psychiatric Trauma at the Center for Psychiatric Wellness (CPW), Privilege Communication & Ethics: What Those Working in the Healthcare System Need to Know addresses the concerns and responsibilities of healthcare providers and counselors who have received a subpoena or legal request to turn over a client’s or patient’s personal and privileged notes. The program will address what the responsibilities are under the law—and how professionals should respond to such requests.
CE programs provide credit to practicing healthcare professionals and counselors in order to maintain their certifications and keep licenses in their field current. WCArMHCA is an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and may offer clock hours approved by NBCC for events that meet their requirements.
