The Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (AACDL) has recognized Caddell Reynolds associate Tony Pirani with the group’s annual President’s Award. This is Tony’s second win of this coveted industry accolade.
The President’s Award is selected each year by the Association’s outgoing president. To be nominated, an individual must go “above and beyond” for the association. The AACDL works with defense attorneys across the state to ensure justice and due process for persons accused of crimes or other misconduct.
“This year’s award was a pleasant surprise,” says Tony. “Our firm tries to be very active. This year, we organized a series of CLE (Continuing Legal Education) seminars, which are required for any practicing attorney. We offer classes in Fayetteville and Bentonville.”
During his almost seven years of membership with AACDL, Tony has served as president, was a long-time board member, and chaired the Legislative Committee helping coordinate advocacy efforts and testifying on various bills at the Legislature. This year, he also took on the re-drafting of the AACDL’s by-laws.
Tony is showing no signs of slowing, as he is also one of the attorneys heading up Caddell Reynolds’ new office in Fayetteville. “I like being in a courtroom,” he says. “I like mixing things up. The firm’s ‘client-first’ culture allows me to help more people, and this new office allows me to help them faster.”
Caddell Reynolds has served Northwest Arkansas for over thirty years. They have offices in Fort Smith, Rogers, and Fayetteville.
