Wm. Marshall Hubbard grew up in Jonesboro, AR, and graduated high school from Jonesboro High School. He attended his undergrad at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received his B.A. in 2005. After graduating college, he worked for two years as a member of U.S. Congressman Marion Berry’s (1st district of Arkansas) in Jonesboro, AR, and later in Washington, D.C. After seeing the creation of laws in D.C., it inspired him to return to school to obtain his juris doctorate.
In 2007, he returned to his home state of Arkansas to attend law school at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, AR. Marshall found consumer advocacy when he participated in a school sponsored tax clinic that permitted students to assist real clients with real personal tax debt issues that otherwise would not be able to afford legal representation. Participating in the tax clinic had a profound effect on him and influenced him to pursue a career that would allow him to help those that needed the most help.
After graduating law school and passing the Arkansas Bar, his first job was defending clients with various collection issues, including assisting clients with federal and state tax collection issues, foreclosure defense, home loan modifications, defense of collection lawsuits, and representing clients that needed to file Bankruptcy. His entire career has been focused on assisting Arkansans who have financial issues and how to help them get their finances back on track. Now, Marshall’s area of practice is assisting clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies to give them a fresh start. Over the years, Marshall has developed a strong ambition to use the knowledge and experience he has obtained over his career for helping those most in need.
